The aqueduct swinging back

As the aqueduct swings, the water starts to run towards one end, and the d**n things tips, I tell you! It's theoretically possible to swing the tank with a boat in, thanks to the Archimedes Principle*, but I doubt if it's done today.

*the boat displaces its own weight of water, so makes no difference to the balance of the tank.
