Mill and lock at Upper Barnwell, River Nene

Each of the Nene locks has a guillotine gate at the tail, and mitre gates at the head. On all bar seven of the locks, the guillotine is now electrically powered, but on the remainder, it has to be laboriously wound down to use the lock, and wound back up after, as the gate must always be left in the raised position.
