Sheila's Page
Sheila met Bruce whilst they were both freshers at Aberdeen University, and they didn't realise that there was any sort of Antipodean flavour to the pairing of their names until they moved south of the Border. They married just after graduation, and have stayed that way for over thirty-five years.
Originally taking a degree in biochemistry, Sheila worked in computer programming and system analysis before Elanor and Graeme came along. After a career break, she returned to work firstly in computer consultancy and then in office and financial management. Her last job was as financial controller for a parcels and pallets distribution depot, and she says that everything you've ever heard about drivers is a pale shadow of the truth.
Since moving on board, she has further developed her interests in counted cross stitch and crochet work - all the porthole doilies and similar work on Sanity is her own.
